Budapest was recently called out by The New York Times as one of “52 Places to Go in 2017.” We couldn’t agree more! Beautiful Budapest is full of distinct neighborhoods, gorgeous architecture …. and a fascinating food culture and emerging wine scene.
Join us from May 8th-18, 2017 for the third edition of our Hungary Food Tour in partnership with Zingerman’s Food Tours! Hungary has an incredibly rich and varied food tradition reaching back at least 1500 years, including an Eastern European Jewish influence. From the regional cheeses, wines, cured meats, and bountiful produce, to the incredible breads, pastries, and elegant multi-layered tortas, Hungary has it all. This tour will dig deep into the depth of the country’s culinary history, and we’ll meet some of the passionate people who have transformed Hungary’s culinary culture into what it is today. Come find out how much more there is to Hungarian food than its excellent paprika!
You can read all about the details (and see the itinerary) on the Zingerman’s Food Tours site. If you are interested in booking a spot on the tour (which is limited to 15 participants), please do it directly through Zingerman’s Food Tours.
