Danube Boat Ride & Wine Tasting

The Danube at night

Cruise the Danube the right way … on a small and elegant boat with a glass of wine in hand! This 1.5-hour boat ride pairs one of Europe’s most memorable skylines with four fine Hungarian wines. Budapest’s Danube banks are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with extraordinary architecture lining both sides. You will see it all up close on this boat ride.

This cruise is the perfect introduction to both Budapest, and the wines of Hungary. We’ll cruise in our small luxury boat, which can comfortably hold up to ten participants. This cruise is equal part sightseeing, and equal part wine tasting. Your wine-specialized tour guide will fill you in on what you are seeing, as well as on what is in your glass. The mahogany boat has a closed cabin with leather seating, as well as an open platform. It’s a small boat, so you’ll be much closer to the water than on the typical tourist boats (which you will be speeding past!). In addition to being a relaxing way of sightseeing, this cruise is ideal for intimate events or special occasions for small-groups (or couples), such as birthdays, anniversaries, or family parties.
